Heirloom gears have a unique effect that reduces the requirement to obtain the 4 piece set bonus by 1.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I start worrying about Set Bonus?

Tier 1 to Tier 3 (F1 – F13 Lost Battlefield)
You do not worry about forming sets at this stage because eventually you will scrap gears that are Tier 3 and below. So wear anything related to raw ATK until you reach Tier 4. But keep the heirloom because you need 2 heirloom gears to unlock the ascension feature.

Tier 4 (before F19)
You start wearing 2 Bastion (Elem DMG +25%), 2 Spike (Ulti DMG +25%) and 2 Hurricane (Boss DMG +10%) on your general loadout. Since these bonuses are generic, you can immediately use them for any dragonform.

Tier 4 (F19 – 22)
Now that you can now choose Tier 4 Set Bonus drops. You will continue to replace your gears with those that have better offensive stats (such as ATK, Crit, CDMG, ASPD).

ST1 (F23 – F27)
Replace the Tier4 red gear with the red ST1 gear of the same set and main stats. Prepare to gear level up to 240 and go for ST2 ascension.

Should I always wear Heirloom over Red Gears?

Depends, if the main stat of the Heirloom is not offensive, it is better to wear red gears. Also take note that wearing 2 armor Heirloom gears does not reduce the 4 piece set bonus requirement twice.

I'm a F2P, is 2-2-2 better for me?
  • Yes, 2-2-2 sets (Bastion+Spike+Hurricane) are generic sets that you can use for all Dragonforms.
  • f2p players might be saving up for a dragon to pull later and hence will need to resort to generic sets until his/her main dragonform is set.
  • 4-2 sets are highly specific for one dragonform. For example, Aoshuang will prefer the 4 Unrivalled + 2 Spike. You will struggle to farm 1 set for each dragonform as f2p.
  • Stamina is limited and you have to dedicate towards Ancient Rift for Dragonform and Lost Battlefield for gears.
I'm a P2W, what is the best way to farm gears?
  • Save as much as you can and use them on Wed and Sat for boots, necklace and weapon to farm for ASPD boots, Crit / CDMG necklace.
  • On other days, you use only the free without using your . The reason for this is because the other gears such as top and bottom don’t have as much variations as boots and necklace.
  • Scrap gears that are not red to get as much and level up your Gear Level to 240 as soon as possible. So that you can ascend them to ST2.
